Thrive works with a lot of "Non Profits". YMCA, Habitat for Humanity, Charitable Foundations to mention a few. So a lot of energy goes into soliciting donations. In our latest Donations Page, we raised the suggested donation amounts and raised the apparent minimum donation. The idea being that if you raise the minimum donations amount from $10 to $25, revenue would rise. In fact that is exactly what happened.

Words do matter. I talk to YMCAs from across the country. I find the employees to be a great cross section of America. Bright, intelligent, passionate, engaged. All the qualities you would look for in an employee. But I am surprised that an organization as large and successful as the YMCA would have a problem using terms like 'sales prospect" and "sales lead".
